On 13rd of November, Department of History, School of Art and Humanities, the University of Georgia organizes a special event: “Pure Son of Liberty“ dedicated to the 200th anniversary of a national hero in Poland, Lithuania, Belarus, and the United States - Thaddeus Kosciuszko’s (1746-1817) passing and Polish Independence Day .

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland to Georgia,
HE Mariusz Maszkiewicz and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Lithuania to Georgia, HE Giedrius Puodžiūnas will attend the event.
